oracle's application growth was nil. and there frankly is not -- the growth tends to be acquisition growth. and people love it. they don't look through the numbers. one of the frustrating things for the purists is there wasn't a lot of growth in oracle and the stock didn't get hit. this is a remarkable time, guys. here you don't have the classic what you want to see from tech, which is good revenue growth and no one seems to mind. >> i think in certain companies, investors are willing to look past. that's oracle, that's amazon, a number of them. and they're very much connected to the people running those economies. 234 particular, mr. ellison, mr. bezos. they're not going to react, not going to run and hide from one quarter that may not be exactly what you're looking for. it wasn't a bad quarter. >> no. a lot of people are asking, why does google keep going up? i say, it's not up a lot. second, they are mobile. so everything that you read about that's bad for mobile is perfect for google because it's search oriented. the
